Approved Stimulus Bill with COBRA Provisions

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Act) was signed by President Obama on February 17, 2009 and will go into effect March 1, 2009. The Act allows certain eligible individuals to apply for premium assistance to offset the cost of COBRA continuation coverage for a maximum of 9 months.
